From experiencing the latest products, uncovering the newest trends and learning from world-renowned experts, this year for three days in March 2023 at Fira Barcelona Gran Via, you will find all you need to develop formulations and create products that meet consumer needs. If you’re part of the personal care industry, this event is not to be missed.

Session title: Transformation of Hair Care in a Post-Pandemic World

Session description: Within beauty, COVID-19 played a crucial role in improving consumer education of health and wellness, which accelerated their interest in ingredient-led beauty. Propelled by “skintellectuals” within skin care, the increased demand for natural or scientifically-backed ingredients has started to now play a more prominent role in developments across the global hair care space, in areas such as scalp care. Improved health awareness is also spurring a shift in consumer focus from restorative products to preventative treatments, particularly among younger consumers in the anti-ageing hair space. Despite the challenges of global inflation, shoppers increased their spending in these areas in 2022, presenting opportunities for the growth of hair care, going forward.

Session date and time: 28 March, 10.00-10.45 CEST

Speaker: Connor Spicer, Senior Research Analyst
