Joana is an Associate Consultant at Euromonitor International, based in the company’s São Paulo office. She works on custom research projects, specialising in consumer insights, where she brings holistic analysis across markets and industries leveraging methodologies from online ethnographies to quantitative surveys.
At Euromonitor, Joana has worked on a range of industries, including food and beverages, payments, and travel. She has developed skills in consumer insight and a keen understanding of retail channels, B2B markets and supply chain analysis. She has a particular interest in consumer segmentation.
Joana previously worked for a Brazilian think tank covering research on financial services, with a focus on digital payments. Prior to that, she conducted cultural policy analysis and evaluation studies for institutions such as the Brazilian Ministry of Culture and QMUL’s People’s Palace Project.
