The official US dollar is worth half of the value of the US dollar that can actually be obtained and bought on the "unofficial" market, because in the official market it is not possible to access foreign currency.
Argentina has historically had a very centralised flight system where everything was channelled through the airport at Buenos Aires City. However, several years ago, there began to be a greater number of flights between smaller cities in the interior of the country, without the need to pass through Buenos Aires, as well as a greater number of departures from these cities to destinations abroad.
