In Uzbekistan, the use of cards, including digital card payments, is on the rise. However, mobile payments made through virtual wallets remain quite low.
There has been significant improvement in terms of mobile coverage over the review period, as well as more affordable smartphone data packages. Also, while smartphone penetration is growing fast, a lot of the smartphones are Chinese devices with lower functionality in terms of storage, etc.

Goods purchased via quick-delivery services, such as Amazon Prime, are captured here, whereas the subscription fee for such a service is captured in Other E-Commerce. Retail purchases made via hyperlocal or third-party delivery platforms are also included here, while the delivery fees associated with such services are included in Other E-Commerce.
